“Parole & Note” doubles, the story of the Beatles and Italian songwriting in Luca Caporale's musical tale

Journalist Luca Caporale 's musical tale returns to the streets of Capitanata. The show "Parole & Note," which combines live music with the narration of the songwriters' works, after the first two years dedicated to Italian singer-songwriters, doubles this summer with a new show, "Chiedi chi erano i Beatles." Inspired by Stadio's famous song, the Foggia-born journalist recounts a personal story. Asking his father who those four lads from Liverpool were, he receives one of their records in return on Christmas Eve. From that listening, an unstoppable passion is born, which over the years has led the author to delve into the band's entire discography and read several texts that trace the career of a group that, in less than a decade, forever changed the history of music and society as a whole.
A journey that begins with their early days at the Cavern Club in Liverpool, through fame in America and Baronetti's recognition in his homeland, followed by Beatlesmania, experiences in India, the failure of Apple, and the great albums that opened the doors to infinity for four young men from Liverpool's working class, who became idols and inspirations for countless fans around the world. Both shows have several dates scheduled, starting on Saturday, August 2nd in Piazza Pietro Nenni in Orta Nova with "Parole & Note," a show dedicated to Italian singer-songwriters, featuring the music and lyrics of great songwriters such as De Gregori, Gaber, Guccini, Gaetano, Battisti, Dalla, Battiato, and De Andrè.
On Monday, August 11th, in Via Santa Maria del Popolo in Ascoli Satriano, the premiere of "Chiedi chi erano i Beatles" (Ask Who Were the Beatles) will take place. Another performance dedicated to the Fab Four will take place on Saturday, August 30th in Piazza Mario Frasca in Orta Nova, closing the 7th edition of Geometra Sognante (Dreaming Geometer), organized by the Mao FM19.77 Association. Journalist Luca Caporale is the project's author, narrator, and bassist, while Antonio Benedetto is the vocalist. The arrangements and guitars are by Danilo Rubino, and the band is rounded out by Maurizio Traisci on piano and Davide Fiore on drums.
